• Kihei Charter High School

• Grade: 12 / GPA: 4.0 Anthropology 200, English 102, Business and Law

• Sports: Cross Country, Track and Field, Paddling, Surfing

• Future Plans: I plan to attend UH Manoa or a University of California for Business Administration or Economics.

• Sports Lessons: From being an athlete, I enjoy the connectivity around these sports. My cross country coach always said, “Doing hard things together connects us.” One more thing I enjoy most about being an athlete, is that the impact it has on my life. My sports give me a space to clear my head, give and receive encouragement, and strive for self-achievement. From being an athlete, beginner, and captain, I have learned that anyone can change someone else’s life. My coaches and parents, and friends have positively changed my life and I aim to do the same. Being an athlete has also taught me that success doesn’t come right away. Obstacles may come up and when they do you must be determined.
