The following eight new mission presidents and companions have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in July.
Mikel Jon Anderson, 44 and Amy Lara Anderson, six children, Manette Ward, Bremerton Washington Stake: Russia Moscow Mission, succeeding President Jeffrey D. McGhie and Sister Josie Preisler McGhie. Brother Anderson is a Washington Tacoma Mission presidency counselor and institute teacher, and a former stake president, bishop, stake executive secretary, elders quorum president, seminary and institute teacher, and missionary in the Russia Rostov-na-Donu Mission. He was born in Bremerton, Washington, to Leonard M Anderson and Kathleen Milligan Anderson.
Sister Anderson is a ward Relief Society presidency counselor and a former ward Primary and Young Women presidency counselor, teacher improvement coordinator, Primary music leader and Nursery leader. She was born in Bremerton, Washington, to Keith Allen Shumaker and Patricia Anne Nicholson Shumaker.
J. Francisco Dubón Valdez, 50, and I. Lucrecia Piedrasanta de Dubón, three children, Arrazola Ward, Guatemala City Don Justo Stake: El Salvador San Salvador West/Belize Mission, succeeding President Eric M. Adams and Sister Cheri L. Adams. Brother Dubón is a former stake president, stake Young Men president, bishop, branch president, bishopric counselor, EFY director and missionary in the Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission. He was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to Julio Adán Dubón Paredes and Amada Elizabeth Valdez.
Sister Dubón is a former stake Young Women president, ward Young Women and Primary president, ward Relief Society and Primary presidency counselor, young single adult adviser, EFY director and missionary in the Guatemala Guatemala City South Mission. She was born in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, to Adalberto Piedrasanta Mendez and Irma Yolanda De León Ochoa.
Matthew K. Hawkins, 57, and Shannon Hawkins, six children, Almond Grove Ward, Modesto California North Stake: Bolivia Santa Cruz North Mission, succeeding President Enrique Cabezas Gomez and Sister Manuela Sanchez de Cabezas. Brother Hawkins is a former stake president, bishop, stake and ward Young Men president, high priests group leader, ward mission leader and missionary in the Honduras Tegucigalpa Mission. He was born in Melbourne, Florida, to David Henry Hawkins and Vela Washburn Hawkins.
Sister Hawkins is a former stake and ward Young Women president, ward Relief Society president, ward Relief Society and Primary presidency counselor, and ward pianist and organist. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, to Vance R. Leavitt and Marquitta Elton Leavitt.
Daniel W. Lewis, 54, and Betty Jo Lewis, five children, Taylor Ranch Ward, Albuquerque New Mexico West Stake: Côte d’Ivoire Abidjan West Mission, succeeding President David Hamand and Sister Michel Hamand. Brother Lewis is a former stake president, bishop, bishopric counselor, high councilor, ward mission leader, seminary teacher and missionary in the France Paris Mission. He was born in Gallup, New Mexico, to Evan Morris Lewis and Velma Lorraine Crawford Lewis.

Brother Marin is a California Carlsbad Mission presidency counselor and is a former bishop, branch president, high councilor, branch presidency counselor, Sunday School teacher and missionary in the Texas Corpus Christi Mission. He was born in Veracruz, México, to Ismael Marin Fernandez and Flora Martinez Leal.
