The Thai Cave Incident

Tham Luang Cave Rescue, commonly known as Thai Cave Rescue, is the most talk the news in 2018. The Incident happened between June and July 2018. A junior Association Football team with their assistant coach entered the cave on June 23 after their football practice season. Due to the terrible monsoon flooding, the team couldn't be able to come out of the cave. They stuck within the cave. Many rescue team experts made various efforts to rescue at last two British divers were succeeded in finding the correct location of the team. After various rescue attempts, the team got rescued safely between 8th and 10th July.

Thai Cave Rescue Where Are They Now?

As per the source of thecinemaholic.com, we learned that most rescuers are still living in their native place of Chiang Rai in Thailand and are continuing their sports and education. The youngest boy in the crew, 11-year-old Chanin, is continuing his sports career like him the 17-year-old boys, namely Panumart, Saengdee, Duangpet, Phomthep, and Mongkol, are also continuing their sports as well as education. Currently, these boys are joined at Chiang Mai Technical College to pursue their Higher studies. The only English Speaker, Adul Dul Simon, is now studying in the master's school in New York. Still, we couldn't find the current details about the rest of the boys in the group, namely Takamrong, Tee, Phiraphat, and Somphiangchai. Still, Surprisingly we have to find the present details about the boys' coach, Ekapal Eak Chantawong is now living his life peacefully in Chaing Rai.

Thai Cave Rescue Divers Where Are They Now

The Thai Cave Rescue Divers John Volanthen and Rick Stanton were British. They discovered the 12 boys and their coach in the cave system. Many people widely recognize and appreciate the bravery of these divers. Now they are living in the united kingdom. John Volanthen is currently working as an IT consultant in Bristol, England. Rick Stanton is a rescue volunteer, and both of them have now become the part of British cave rescue council. In July 2022, these gallantry divers volanthen and Stanton were awarded honorary degrees from the University of Bristol. Here with we have given the current update about the rescue divers.

John Volanthen

John Volanthen is an essential member of the rescue team now. He has become a member of senior IT Consultant at Comparket. He has received the queen gallantry medal. He also wrote a book based on his Thai cave rescue experiments.

Richard Rick Stanton

Richard Rick is another essential rescue diver in the Thai rescue incident. Now he teaching about his experience in rescue operations with youngsters. Apart from that, he also became a motivational speaker and served as a consultant on some projects related to the Thai rescue case. He has received the hero of the year award from the west midland fire service.

Dr Richard Harris 

Dr Richard Harris is an Anesthesia Specialist in the Thai rescue team. Now he is continuing his work as a volunteer in various rescue operations. He is living with his wife and three children in South Australia. Apart from that, he is a well-known public speaker and author.

Jason Mallinson

Jason Mallinson is one of the prominent rescue team members who also received the queen gallantry awards and an honorary doctorate from the University of Huddersfield. He has more experience in this field. He has become a motivational speaker who shares his knowledge with youngsters.

Chris Jewell

Chris Jewell is another important member of the Thai rescue team who also received the queen gallantry award. at present, he is living with his wife in the cheddar village. Chris works as the head of the professional service at Access Group and serves as an active member of the British cave Rescue council.

Rescue Operation In Thai Cave

The Thai Rescue Operation was started on the 8th of July. The rescue was led by four British Divers, namely John Volanthen, Richard Stanton, and Chris Jewell, and two Australian divers, Richard Harris, a physician, and Craig Challen. The team skillfully used various strategies to rescue the team last. They got succeeded in saving the life of the boys and their coach. The boys were in buoyancy Jackets and positive pressure full face masks when they got rescued. But Unfortunately, the team couldn't save the life of two young boys, and a rescue driver named Saman Kunan also sacrificed his life for the rescue operation.

Recovery Of The Team

After the rescue operation, the rescued boys remained safely. The team of expert doctors continuously monitored the health of the boys. The rice porridge food was given to the boys to eat. The Health Ministry of Thai said that the boys lost two kilograms from their weight. Thai rescue operation and its systematic strategies have become the guidelines for future rescuers.
